The village of Dabnik

The village is located at 260 meters above sea level. It is located 25 km northwest of Bourgas, 20 km. from Pomorie and 15 km. from Nessebar. In the past, the small and neat village was called Osman Kyoi. Today the village has a population of 1,000 peoples.
In the village of Dabnik is the oldest mosque in the region, built nearly 300 years ago. According to legend, a century-old building was built overnight by two brothers. It is made of wood and has a capacity of 300 people.
The mosque has two floors. The first floor is used as a prayer hall for men and the second for women’s prayer.
Guests of Dabnik have the opportunity to visit the local stadium and the extensive strawberry and cherry plantations.
