Location
The village is located on a terrain with flat terrain. About 2.5 km north is the Poroy Dam, built on the Hadjiyska River.
To the northwest, along Alexandrovo, passes the road Burgas – Varna through the town of Kableshkovo.
The old name of the village is Karakaya (translated from Turkish as “black rock”). In 1880 the village was renamed Alexandrovo by the Sliven bishop Antim.
Every year for “Pentecost” in the village of Alexandrovo are organized many events, rituals and surprises. Guests of the village can visit the temple-chapel “Holy Spirit” and touch the healing spring. Every year in the church “Holy Spirit” on Pentecost a holy water is celebrated and a sacrifice for health is given.

To touch the unique spirit of the village of Alexandrovo you must visit the ancient holy spring “HOLY SPIRIT” and the church “PROTECTION OF THE MOST HOLY VIRGIN” with a special place for drinking, as well as to meet the famous Alexandrov grandmothers, who they will sing you a song, tell you interesting legends and show you basic traditions.
