Salt museum – Pomorie

It’s located on the shore of the Pomories’ Salt Lake. It is established on the 07.09.2020. The museum was created with the help of EU, Republic of Bulgaria, and Municipality of Pomorie.
The museum is one of a kind in Bulgaria and the Balkans. It specializes in the development of salt with evaporation of sea water by the sun. There are preserved salt beds with an old Anhialo technology.
Simultaneously with the yield of salt it is also produced lye traditional for the city, which heals illnesses of the bone system and the skin.
At the museum can be seen many photos, instruments and other exhibits.
